Ittai Rosenbaum

Pianist, composer and educator, Ittai Rosenbaum is a graduate of Berklee College (BM) and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance (MM). He is now a doctoral student in the music composition department at the University of California Santa Cruz. He has been teaching at the Tel-Aviv University and the Jerusalem Academy, as well as initiating and leading many educational programs and projects. Ittai participated as pianist, composer and arranger in many jazz projects including legendary be-bop singer Sheila Jordan and bass player Chuck Israels, as well as in pop and rock productions.

Ittai has released four CDs: The Yellow Submarine Ensemble (jazz, 2000), Solika (jazz fantasies on Ladino songs for a 10 piece ensemble, 2008), Music From the Chamber (chamber music, 2009), Between Waters and Waters (suite for varying ensemble and a narrator, in collaboration with poet Liat Kaplan, 2009). He also directed and produced the CD Ilana Eliya (Kurdish songs, 1996).
